Duxbury American Legion POST 223, chartered in 1919, is one of the most active and impactful posts in Massachusetts. Despite being in a small town, it ranks 5th largest out of 267 posts statewide — with 289 local veterans enrolled.
Your support helps POST 223 continue its incredible work:

• Organizing Memorial Day parades and cemetery ceremonies

• Honoring veterans through events for Pearl Harbor Day, Purple Heart Recipients, Vietnam Veterans, Flag Day, and Veterans Day
• Hosting premier military bands
• Sponsoring scouting groups and youth baseball teams
• Sending six high school juniors to Boys/Girls State annually
• Awarding over $8,000 in scholarships each year to graduating
seniors
• Hosting free events for veterans and their families for holidays and social gatherings
