Young Anglers 14 and Under Fish FREE!
Children 14 and under can enter the tournament for free for a chance to win one of three Rod & Reel Combos. Every junior angler who enters receives a free saltwater lure courtesy of Duxbury Bait & Tackle. Please note that Kids Division entries must be accompanied by a paid adult.
Free entry includes participation in the fishing portion but doesn't include a shirt, or the captains party or after party.

MEASURING
Tournament Boundaries
All fish must be measured, photographed, and texted to tournament officials prior to 3:00pm Sunday June 14th
Fish are measured in total length, which is the greatest straight line from the anterior most tip of the jaw or snout to the farthest extremity of the tail with the forks squeezed together
Competition is limited to designated zones From Minot Beach in Scituate to Sandy Neck Beach in Barnstable. Tournament Maps will be provided

WHEN IS THE POST 223 FISHING TOURNAMENT?
The tournament is Flag Day Weekend, June 12th-14th. Captains Party is Friday June 12th. Fishing Starts at 5:00am Saturday June 13th and goes till Sunday June 14th.
HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE EVENT?
Participants can register online via our portal or in person at POST 223 during regular hours.
WHAT ARE THE TOURNAMENT LOCATION DETAILS?
Captains Party and Awards Dinner are held at POST 223 in Duxbury, MA. The event spans from Minot Light Beach in the North to Sandy Neck Beach in the South. BAR IS CASH ONLY
ARE THERE PRIZES FOR THE WINNERS?
A comprehensive prize pool is awarded across multiple categories including Blues and Stripers for both land and sea divisions.
